Virtual Lexicon's

Those guys down at PSP have been pretty busy of late. We were just about to post news of their PSP 42 delay plugin, when we found out they've raised the bar and released the PSP 84.

The PSP 42 is a software version of the Lexicon PCM 42, and is so close to the actual unit that Lexicon have allowed their logo to adorn the panel. The PSP 42 is a digital delay and phrase sampling unit, incorporating tape saturation modelling and up to 9.6 seconds of delay time.

The PSP 84 is basically 2 PSP 42's with a dedicated filter section for processing the input, feedback or wet signals, and a plate/spring reverb emulation. Both plugin's are "primarily meant for applying to individual tracks within a mix and experimenting with drum and synth loops", though we are sure that you could find a few other uses for them.

Both plugins are available in VST and DirectX flavours and support up to 192 kHz sampling rates.

Demos and online ordering are available from PSP's Website
