Kenton's Wireless MIDI

Ever wanted that wireless experience when playing live? Ever wanted your mobile controller keyboard free from the limitations of the MIDI cable? Ever felt envy for guitarists who can use wireless systems and throw themselves round the stage?

Well Kenton electronics have now afforded the same freedom to the electronic musician. You no longer have to be trapped behind your tower of technology. Take your portable controller out from behind your racks and create a real performance atmosphere on stage with this new offering from Kenton.

Kenton's MIDI steam Wireless MIDI transmitter allows you to send a MIDI output from your controller up to 80 feet through the air to the receiver. This wireless device supports MIDI clock, SYSEX and has build in protection against hung notes should something happen to the transmission stream.

With only a 2ms latency, this device could be just the thing for those of us wanting to bring electronic music out into full performance mode.

Currently Kenton only offer a single frequency unit in UK and the US, so only one of these can be used at a particular venue, but they are planning other frequencies so that you can take your entire rig to the airwaves.

For more information you can visit Kenton's Website
