Live 5 on the way

Ableton has announced the release of version 5 of their Live software, scheduled to take place no later than late July.

New features are among others;
- those most sought after to make things happen in today's real world music production environment, such as effects freeze, plugin delay compensation to make up for latency, locators, control surface support and much more.
- mp3 support.
- enhanced tempo matching.
- export clips for use in other projects, including plugin chains.
- new effects, such as auto pan, phaser and flanger, arpeggiator, and a novelty called "beat repeat", which has our imagination triggered.
- count-in recording.
- and many more, far too many to mention all of them here.
