Looking to buy a new music player that fits your lifestyle? Or want to simply a wannabe that needs to act as if you have musical skills simply because you have a huge vinyl collection and learned to beat map. Maybe you just want to stick it to the man, because the angry dude in the black turtleneck and oh so fashionable jeans is too popular to represent your angst accurately? I'm forlorn...I've owned an iPod since the 1st Gen 5 Gigabyte model, but how can I prove I'm not a 'sheeple'.

Yes, I say, that describes me almost down to my limited edition Threadless T-shirt with the catchy but aloof slogan that is both kitsch and timely that I wear to scene while looking down my nose at idiots that spent years actually learning how to play an instrument. I'm eff'n awesome!
So what do I want? The new Pacemaker portable DJ rig! Its soooo eff'n RAWK AND RULE!!! Find loop points in real time with the press of a button, cross fade between loops and audio files, pitch bend, EQ, adjust FX...all with a line-out and a headphone out presumably so you can cue up one track while playing the other live, touchpads and a dedicated touch-crosspad. All with 7 hours of DJ use on one charge, or just 20 hours of listening to music. Does the 'remix generation' even 'listen' to music? Who knows.
I'm not going to lie to you...I find DJs to be only one step above promoters, and not by much, but this thing rocks and not in some faux ironic sort of sense. So if you are a DJ and own one of these, give me a call and I'll pretend to like you while I test this out.
...Software available for Mac and PC...520 €...available in Europe (and the rest of the world when they can learn to put straight men in thongs and latex)...
