Kurzweil:Bandpass
From Sonikmatter
(Redirected from Bandpass)
Bandpass filters are a type of filter that allows a narrow range of frequencies to pass while blocking other frequencies from the spectrum of the sound. The frequency and bandwidth are frequently assignable to control these filters. Bandpass Filters are normally used to create lo-fi effects, or to single out a narrow Frequency band to help with mixing, though they can also be used to create analog type sounds and can be used creatively in similar ways to lowpass filters.
A Bandpass Filter is essentially the opposite to a Notch Filter
