Logic:Config- LoopBrowser

From Sonikmatter

(Redirected from Config:LoopBrowser)

The Loop Browser is used for Browsing and auditioning Apple Loops. The top half of the Browser is the finder section, organized by several different modes. The lower half is explained here...

Name Match Tempo Key Beats Fav
Icon Name % of match to Logics current tempo Original tempo of Loop Original key of Loop How many beats in loop Checkbox for favorites

The Icon on the left shows whether the loop is MIDI (green) or Audio (blue).
To audition a loop simply click on it. To stop playback, click on it again.
To get a loop into the Arrange Window drag-n-drop it on a track that coincides with what type of loop it is (Audio/MIDI).

NOTE: MIDI Loops can have settings for Audio Instruments such as FX Plugins. If you drop a MIDI loop onto a Standard or Multi Istrument track it will not retain these settings so you will only be left with the MIDI notes.
