Dry

From Sonikmatter

A dry sound is one that does not pass through effects, or that bypasses effects. It refers to the "raw" sound without reverb, chorus or other effects.

The opposite to dry is wet and the proportion of wet and dry is usually controlled with a wet/dry parameter, or by adjusting a send level to an effects buss.
