EQ

From Sonikmatter

EQ (or Equalization) is the process of manipulating frequencies to change the timbre of a sound. EQ is often used to make a sound more pleasing to the ear, to help with mixing several sounds, and to help control the frequency spectrum during mastering, as an aid to committing a technically good sound to the final medium. This is particularly relevant with mastering to Vinyl.

Logic has EQ's available in the Audio section of the program.

Kurzweil synths have EQ's available both as DSP Blocks and in the KDFX engine.

Kurzweil effects units have EQ's available both in the Input Stage and as dedicated effects algorithms.
