Cable Switcher Parameters:

Cable Switcher ---The name of the fader (Click on the word to rename)
(Fader) ---What kind of Object this is
Icon: [   ] ⊆Ξ⊇ ---When the Icon box is selected, this object will appear in the Arrange Window Track selector
Style: Auto Style --- What kind of Fader it is
Output: Switch --- What type of Data will be output (Switch is the function, Data that doesn't match the Switch Input is passed through)
Channel: 1 --- MIDI Channel (MIDI Channel 1)
-1-: 48 --- Data Parameter (48 = Switch)
Input: Control --- What type of Data will Increment/Decrement this switch (MIDI CC in this case)
Channel: 1 --- MIDI Channel (MIDI Channel 1)
-1-: 7 --- Data Parameter (MIDI CC 07 will Increment/Decrement this switch)
Range: 0     127 --- The Range which the Fader is able to output (0 - 127 in this case)
Value as: Number --- The Value that appears on the Fader
Filter: off --- Setting for filtering Input to the Fader
Feedback: [   ] --- If the Ouput Cable on this Fader comes back to the Input the Data can be accepted or not accepted (not checked = not accepted)

  • The Cable Switcher can only switch when there are cables connected to it's Output.
  • It is usually best to set the Cable Switcher's Range to the amount of cables that are connected to it's Output.
  • If there are 4 cables connected to the Output, Range should read Range: 0    3
  • If a Fader Object is the Object that is to be incrementing/decrementing this Cable Switcher, the Fader Object's Range should be equal to the Cable Switcher's Range.
  • The Environment Object that increments/decrements the Cable Switcher does not pass Data through the Cable Switcher's Output, it only performs the switching action.
