Logic:Environment Object-Physical Input

From Sonikmatter

The Physical Input Object represents the MIDI Devices connected to your computer.

All MIDI Input Devices connected to the computer, whether they are external or LAN show up in the Physical Input, including Caps Lock Keys. The SUM of the Physical Input represents ALL Data from ALL devices connected to the computer. All other Inputs can be cabled separately in order to separate Input for certain situations. When Logic is first installed the SUM is the default connection that eventually ends up at the Sequencer Input or "to Recording & Thru" Object. This connection has to exist or data coming from a MIDI Controller will not be recorded into Logic.
