Kurzweil:Amp

From Sonikmatter

This Kurzweil-related article is a stub. You can help Sonikmatter by expanding it.

The Amp block is one of the most important and the most ubiquitous on the Kurzweil synth. It appears at the end of every algorithm, both standard VAST layers and Triple Mode layers.

This block controls the overall level of the program and it's analogous to the VCA of an analog synth.

The Coarse parameter works much like a volume control on a stereo by adjusting the overall level of the sound, but this block also allows for velocity tracking and pitch tracking of the sound.

This block also has a dedicated Envelope hardwired to it, being the AMPENV.

If you want to do anything with the final volume of the sound, this is where you do it.
