Kurzweil:Block
From Sonikmatter
A Block, in Kurzweil terms is a DSP slot that can be changed in an Algorithm. Each layer has 5 assignable blocks, with the first usually being reserved for the Pitch Block and the last usually being the Amp block. Triple mode Programs, have more flexibility with the first and last block on each Layer and Hard sync programs don't have a Pitch block, instead having Blocks 2 and 3 assigned to the oscillators.
Different DSP Blocks require different amounts of power, and the number of Blocks that each of these occupy are indicative of the complexity of the particular function.
