Kurzweil:Channel

A Kurzweil Channel is really a MIDI channel. Each Channel can have it's own Program assigned to it, or can be used as a control channel for KDFX or Song Mode. Channels can be assigned in Program Mode, Song Mode, Setup Mode, or Quick Access Mode. They can also be assigned in the MIDI Channels page.

There are 16 MIDI Channels available as per the MIDI Spec, though it is possible, through some clever programming, to assign more than 16 sounds at one time, utilizing Zones in the Program Editor
