Kurzweil:Live Mode

From Sonikmatter

Live Mode is a special mode of the sampler that allows the sample buffer to be referenced directly by a Keymap. This Keymap is then sent through to the VAST synthesis architecture allowing the real time processing of live signals.

Lots of interesting effects can be created by arpeggiating, pitchshifting and otherwise messing with the audio signal, but also by altering sampling parameters in real time.

The Sampling Option is required to use Live Mode. It is a more powerful version of the ADAT I/O or DIO options. These multi track digital options allow processing of digital signals, but the input bypasses the keymap stage, and the Pitch page, and there is no provision for manipulation of the sample buffer.
