Kurzweil:None

From Sonikmatter

When NONE is selected for a DSP block, it means that no signal processing will occur for that particular block. I am not certain if the signal that goes into that block will come out at the same level, however. There is no documentation on that issue. I only mention it because I once ran a liveMode signal thru a triple, and set EVERY block to NONE (excluding the amp blocks), and the signal was extremely quiet, even though the Sample page showed that my incoming signal was peaking at -8db.

I built a program that had one layer of Algorithm 1, with no DSP, and a 2nd(thru 4th) layer which was a triple. I used the Sw2 to control the crossfade between them, so I could only hear Layer1, or the Triple, but never both simultaneously. When running the livemode signal thru the program, the volume for the single layer was normal (showed up as -8ish on my Audio Interface inputs), but the volume of the triple layer was about 30% of the volume of the Layer1. So, be advised about using NONE in triples, as it may induce some signal attenuation, without telling you where the attenuation is occurring.
