Kurzweil:One-pole Highpass

From Sonikmatter

The One-pole Highpass Filter is a filter that attenuates the low frequencies while allowing the high frequencies to pass unaffected. The One-pole Highpass filter attenuates the signal by 3 dB at the cutoff frequency and has a 6 dB/Octave rolloff.

This filter is a single block filter that is most useful for gently controlling low frequency's. The cutoff frequency can be modulated in real time, and some interesting effects can be generated, such as highpass filtering of drum loops.

This filter is also useful in modelling analog synthesis where highpass filters are often used in series with lowpass filters.
