Kurzweil:Panner

Panner is useful for taking a single layer program and making it sound stereo. here is how to best set it up to hear its effects: Go to the Output page, and pan U:KDFX-A hard right. Pan U:KDFX-A hard left.

This way, any source that you apply to panner's depth settings will actually be heard. Here is a good example of that:

Kurzweil's will respond to MIDI CC#10 (Pan) by default, and it is hardwired to move the sound accross the stereo space. Using MIDI CC#10, however only allows changes to the note on pan, and doesn't allow for sustaining sounds to move in real time.

This is what the Panner block is for. It allows for the position to be changed in real time by either internal or external Control Sources
