Logic:CoreAudio

From Sonikmatter

Core Audio - Developed by Apple to bring a unified format for plugins and interface drivers that can be deeply tied into the Operating System.

First seen at the release of OS X the interfaces have been tweaked in subsequent versions of the OS and adding a much called for feature (among Logic users) at version 10.4 in the form of the Aggregate Device. This part of the technology allows a user to combine a number of interfaces together and have them function as one complete unit with x number of in's and outs and the ability to set Master clock and also resample natively.
