Logic:Environment Object-Arpeggiator

The Arpeggiator will play alternating notes or chords automatically based on input.

To create a new Arpeggiator, from the Environment Window: New>Arpeggiator.

New   ∇ Edit   ∇ View   ∇ Options   ∇



(Arpeggio) ---The name of the fader (Click on the word to rename)
(Arpeggio) ---What kind of Object this is
Icon: [  ] ⊆Ξ⊇ ---When the Icon box is selected, this object will appear in the Arrange Window Track selector
Direction: Up --- Direction of Arpeggiation
Velocity: Original --- Setting for how incomming Velocity will be treated for output
Key Limit: G2   C6 --- The Rage of keys to Arpeggiate
Resolution: 1/8 --- The division for each Arpeggiated note
Length: 1/8 --- The quantized length of each Arpeggiated note
Snap to: None --- The setting to quantize input to the Arpeggiator
Repeat: [  ] --- When checked will continue Arpeggiating while a key is pressed down
Octaves: 1 --- The amount of Octaves the Arpeggiator will jump during play
Crescendo: ± --- An automatic velocity change during Arpeggiation, can be + or -
Controller: Off --- MIDI CC Control for Arpeggiator



In order to use the Arpeggiator a connection needs to be made from the Arpeggiators output to the Instrument that is going to be arpeggiated, the Icon box needs to be selected, and the Arpeggiator chosen for a Track in the Arrange Window.

NOTE: The Arpeggiator will only function when Logic is in Play or Record.
