Logic:Environment Object-Audio Input Object
From Sonikmatter
Audio Input Object: is a Live Input (stereo or mono) that uses physical input from the soundcard. This gives us the ability to have external gear controls for volume, bussing, inserts, and output. The most powerful use for the Live Input is the ability to use external fx as Bus fx in Logic. By setting a Bus output to external fx, and a Live Input's Input to the same external fx, the Bus becomes an fx Send, the Live Input becomes an fx Return. Example:
- Bus 1 Output = 3/4
- Output 3/4 of Soundcard to Input of external FX unit
- Output of external FX unit to Input 3/4 of Soundcard
- Live Input = Input 3/4, Output 1/2
