This Window (Touch Tracks Editor Window) pops up upon creation of a Touch Tracks Object.

  1. Close this Window, name the Touch Tracks Object.
  2. Double click the Touch Tracks Object to open the Editor Window again.
  3. Close the Environment Window and make sure you have an Arrange Window open.
  4. Using the mouse, grab a Region from the Arrange Window and drop it on a Key in the Touch Tracks Window. This will highlight the Key it was dropped on and show the name of the dropped Region under "Region/Folder"
  5. Select a Track in the Arrange Window, using the mouse, press down on the name and navigate to the Touch Tracks Object that you created.

Now you are able to use this Track for Touch Tracks Sequences.

Settings:

Group: In the Touch Tracks Editor Window the grouping allows changing of other parameters in the window by groups.
Region/Folder: Shows the name of the Region or Folder assigned to the Key.
Trp: Transpose
Velocity: Velocity offset for that Region or Group.
Trigger: Sets how the Region or Group is Triggered:

  • Multi
  • Single
  • Gate (Default)
  • GateLoop
  • Toggle
  • ToggleLoop

Start: Setting for when the Region or Group starts playing:

  • Free
  • Next 16th
  • Next 1/4
  • Next 1/1

Delay: Start Delay for Regions or Groups

TIPS: Organizing Sequences

A Folder is a good container for Sequences that are to be triggered by Touch Tracks. This way you can keep the Arrange Window less cluttered if you're not going to be using the Sequences separate from triggering them.

NOTE: Touch Tracks only work when the sequencer is in Play or Record.
