The Tempo Track lets you see and edit Tempo changes.

To Create a Tempo (Global Track Component), From the Arrange Menu Pull-Down: View>Global Track Components>Tempo

Use the Pencil Tool to create Nodes in the Tempo Track.

The Tempo Resolution button is for creating smooth (small resolution) changes or sudden changes (big resolution) with nodes.

The Tempo Alternatives button gives you a list of Alternate Tempos.

Tip: Open the Tempo List Editor Shift-double click on the Tempo Track.
