About Logic
Logic Pro is a MIDI sequencer and Digital Audio Workstation software application that runs on the Mac OS X platform. Originally created by German software developer C-Lab, then Emagic, Logic Pro became an Apple product when Apple bought out Emagic in 2002. A cut-down version, Logic Express, is also available from Apple, and their Soundtrack Pro product can also use Logic plugins. GarageBand also uses Logic's audio engine. About The Logic Wiki
The Logic Wiki is an attempt to document Logic Pro and Logic Express (formerly Logic Audio Platnium, Gold and Silver)...it is open to all readers of Sonikmatter -- create an account and start editing! The place is pretty bare, so if you find an area that needs attention that you know about, please do so. If you create new pages, please use the Logic:MyNewPage naming style.
Note: All edits are logged along with IP#s. Any 'Bad Faith' edits will result in moderation of your IP as well as your username on the forums as well as this wiki. All content edits are kept in reserve -- meaning if you accidently erase a page, send us an email and we can get it back (it only takes 3 clicks)...we are pretty cool about what is allowed and what isn't...don't push us though (where are our damned smiley faces!!!)
So don't be afraid!
