Remote-mode Vu-meter display doesn't work with Cubase. - in Logic and perhaps several other DAW software, the 01x will display the VU meters from the tracks on the scribble strip LED screen - but it does not do this with any version of Cubase. Both Steinberg and Yamaha have acknowledged this bug.

Status: Yamaha and Steinberg have both acknowledged this bug, but have not addressed it.

Workarounds: none

Can't sync to external wordclock

Description: Neither Autoconnector or Graphic Patchbay allow the mLAN network to use an external wordclock.

Status: Yamaha have acknowledged this bug, and it is apparently on the list of fixes for their announced driver development

Workarounds: None

FIXED: Can't freely assign mLAN outputs

Description: The graphic patchbay must use the lowest numbered ports on each piece of equipment connected to the network, with all remaining ports being closed. It is impossible, for example to use the ADAT I/O on 2 x i88x's, for example, as this requires some of the lower numbered ports to not be connected.

Status: This bug has been fixed with the latest drivers V1.1.1

Workarounds: N/A

FIXED: Latency is Random between mLAN Sessions

Description: The latency of mLAN changes if mLAN is stopped, and restarted, requiring the DAW to be recalibrated, to keep the audio sample accurate in relation to other recorded audio.

Status: This has been fixed with the latest driver version V1.1.1

Workarounds: N/A

Driver causes CPU bursts

Description: The driver occasionally has bursts of high CPU usage, that can sometimes cause pops, clicks and other problems.

Status: Yamaha have acknowledged this bug, and it is apparently on the list of fixes for their announced driver development. The CPU burst problem is improved with the latest V1.1.1 drivers

Workarounds: Raising the size of the buffer reduces the audible effects of the CPU burst. Reducing CPU usage of other programs will also reduce the audible effects. Install the latest drivers.
